Hey guys,

It’s been a long time since I posted my last review, between finishing work for Christmas and spending time with family I just didn’t have time to post anything, but don’t worry I have got so many things to review and with the help of my friends lending me a camera ( thanks Luke ☺️) and my Mother buying me a light for the camera there will be some videos posted to!

Anyways let’s get into the products!

So dermatech kindly gave me some products at the Auckland beauty convention in July and with the summer season in NZ I thought now was a great time to tell you what I thought (btw these thoughts are my own, I’m being completely honest with you)!

Dermablock 30+ offers essential sun protection from the suns damaging rays. This low allergy cream is non comodogenic ( so it doesn’t cause black heads by blocking the pores of the skin ) and PABA Free ( which means para-aminobenzoic acid which is normally in sunscreen). The supremely light yet effectively formation is essential with helping to prevent premeture aging and dehydration of the skin,

It doesn’t leave a white cast and also workes well under foundation,

In NZ it is really important to have sunscreen on at all times, the sun is so warm and in just 30 mins of being exposed to the sun you can do a lot of damage. This product retails for $37.50, do I think it worth it?

Yes. It’s sunscreen which is classed as skin care. I love it!

Facial exfoliate cream -

This gentle cream exfoliant cleanses and exfoliate the skin by removing the dead skin cells and debris on the surface of your skin, you can replace the dull look for a clear glowing finish and help prepare your skin efficiently for a moisturiser leaving your skin smooth and refreshed. I use this every 4 days and or the day before an event where I want my make up to go on smoothly, it retails for $62.90. Whilst I think it is expensive I would reccomend this over the skin prep from dermologica ($60) and the gently rose exfoliator from Elemis

($58.68)! I will deffinately Be repurchasing this product when I run out, infact I’ll be buying it before I run out!!

In my opinion spending a decent amount of money on skin care is good because you can prep your skin ready for expensive/cheaper make up. Regardless of whether you buy the best brand or a cheap brand of make up you are still going to have to take it off at the end of the day and using a skin care brand that is good and trustworthy will be the thing that gets all the muck and dirt of your skin and out of your pores,

I hope this helps!
