Laura Mercier| Secret Brightening Powder

Ima little late on the bandwagon with this product, It was so hard to find in NZ and I didn’t want to pay the shipping prices, anyways I finally got my hands on the Laura mercier secret brightening powder when I went back to the uk. In this review I’ll be going through what it is, what it does and how much it costs etc. 

Bit of a back story, since I started in makeup I always struggled in setting my concealer, every time I put powder on it would seperate, go cakey and just look horrible. I stoped using concealer and powder for years because I couldn’t be bothered with it. I started to try different concealers, powders & eye creams, drunk more water, I tried heaps of things! 

I decided to try the Laura mercier powder because the reviews were insane! 

What it is - 

It’s a lighter than air, weightless, transparent powder that sets and prolongs the wear of concealer. It deminishes signs of visable fine lines. It has a brightening finish that instantly adds a lightening boost to the eye area with a touch of sheer coverage. It works on any skin tone too! The micronised pigments won’t settle into fine lines,accentuate shadows or look cakey, even in the tricky areas (bonus)

The powder creates the appearance of the most naturally perfected skin while maximising the wear & coverage of make up. Just a tiny bit goes a long wear! It is also dermatologist & Ophthalmologist tested and is perfect for all skin type!

In all honesty I love this product it’s the best powder I have tried (and only one that doesn’t seperate regardless of what concealer I use) it’s long wearing, it just adds that glow to my face. I don’t bake with it I just lightely dust in on the areas I’ve concealed, Sometimes I will add some fix plus to my face to get rid of the powdered look but not offen. 

I love it and won’t stop using it for a long time.
