Hey guys,
I have been away for a wee while, I felt really unmotivated to post things but we finally got a camera so now I can start getting in to it and produce great reviews and photography!!
Today I have a review on the Bourjois Paris healthy mix foundation.
I have used this before in fact when I was living in the uk, I would of been around 15/16 using this foundation and just starting to get into make up I didn’t really know my skin type/ colour etc I kinda just stoped using it and found other things that were cheaper or a foundation my mum buy me.
Finding this foundation was really hard in New Zealand untill about 6 months ago a Bourjois counter appeared in our pharmacy’s! Yay,
I fell in love with it again and heres why, it gives your skin a radiance boost and leaves it looking flawless for 16 hours(so it claims, not actually tested out) , it is enriched with a fruit therapy formula that enhanced my complexion gave me the radiance and hydration I wanted, I am In shade 53 light beige in the summer and 52 vanilla in winter.
It is also enriched with crystalline pigments to even out the complexion while letting in the natural light for that healthy looking glow. (Took from the website)
It has a soft, fresh texture easily blends onto the skin for a comfortable flawless finish leaving you with beautiful, radiant and hydrated skin!!
It does transfer (on me anyway) if you don’t set it with a powder (neckline on clothes) which isn’t ideal,
It doesn’t come with a large shade range and mostly for olive complexion which is what I am, it does have pale and deep shade though,
The bottle size is big enough and it is worth the price, it retails for $40 in farmers and I think around 10 (gbp) (don’t quote me it’s been like a year since I went back!)
Over all the positives out weigh the negative and I don’t have anything bad to say about this product, I love it!!
Have a look at the images below- I applied my make up on Monday 19th March at 5:30 Am, these photos were taken at 4:30pm Monday night after a long day at work (office job and a lot of face touching), no edits/filters on the photos (mainly because I don’t know how to do that sort of stuff yet)
I can’t believe it, I could definitely get away with wearing this all night if I needed to!!
Please let me know if there is anything you would like me to review using my Instagram or Facebook!
Thanks,
Lib
